Null Null Null

Having worn out the open park areas I know of, I would like to go back to some areas that are in continuous null on both Etrac and Exp II. I run almost pure default coin pattern 98% of the time. If I go to an open screen and little disc, I see why I am nulling constantly - lots of high conductivity but lots of high fe as well. I suspect there were structures torn down or burned down long ago. Adjusting sensitivity or going slower does not help me find any good signals, assuming there are some there. After trying a few minutes I end up moving to other areas, but wonder if the iron in the ground would have discouraged others and if there might be some good coins left.

Questions - help on any or all is appreciated:
Is this the time to give more effort to ttf? I have tried before but quit pretty soon - honestly probably never gave it much of a chance because it seems like signals are still mixed up due to amount of falsing from nearby iron.
I thought I saved the ttf pattern to the Etrac, but I still have to go in and make the changes to tones and co-fe settings, and when I go back to coins pattern I have to remember to reset them - did I miss a step or is the discrimination pattern the only thing that it saves?
Is the Exp II SOL in these areas?

Thanks for any feedback!

You can save it as a "mode" and it should save the pattern plus your other settings.

NebTrac

It will require vast amounts of patience as a general rule though. Also do not worry about depth but rather separation and fast on with auto sensitivity set so your E-Trac is running as smooth as possible will often help. Also back your gain down a ways if you are running it high as it will help the speed of recovery between multiple targets and will not false as much in my estimation.

Yes this type of area is the perfect place to use TTF, remember to swing twice as slow as you normally do when your hunting clean areas.
