nuggets in streambed/cracks tips?

waterhunters,

im gearing up for coastal water hunting for a variety of stuff as well as searching streambeds and lake bottoms in western north carolina for gold nuggets. i plan to use a tesoro sandshark and tigershark for the streambed searches so as to have a pulse and vlf machine, both with motion and non-motion modes for different conditions.

what are some tips for finding nuggets using such gear in this gold panning country? the nuggets will be sunk as low as possible in cracks i guess.

thanks for any and all advice,

bill

You'd probably have better luck getting some advice on nugget hunting from gold prospecting forums.

Here is one you can check out, but I'm sure there are lots more out there too.

Scroll down the forum page until you find the area for gold prospecting and nugget hunting.

Sorry I couldn't help more.
