Nugget Hunting

Anyone done any nugget hunting in small streams with the CZ-20 or other CZ's. What can I expect? Will it find black sand and small nuggets or flakes? I'm thinking of diving some deeper holes that the "wader only" guys can't reach and don't want to waste my time if the CZ-20 can't find the small stuff.

Any help appreciated.
