Nugget busters vs Gray ghosts

I have been looking at these and am wondering if there is an advantage to the Nugget busters? I know they dont have the volume limiter like the Ghosts, but is that important. I figured that its all about the faint sounds not the lout ones, so why no limiter for nuggets? I am getting a gold bug pro and looking at headphones, for nugget hunting.

I know of half a dozen GBPro users who are rocking the Calrad-15-135B for over a year and poundage has been the result. I have a pair over 28 years old I've used on every detector mfgr made and works fantastic. Stereo/mono, dual volume control for each ear, and extremely sensitive-under $30 and best bang for the buck as sold 1,000s in the day and no complaints EVER!!John

I have never used the volume limiter on my Gray Ghosts. I switched to the Nugget Buster NDT mainly to go from one volume control on the Gray Ghost to dual volume controls on the Nugget Buster NDT. I have some hearing loss in my right ear and need dual controls to compensate.

Steve,
I am not fully educated on headphones but my gray ghost headphones have a separate volume control for each ear and also has the volume limiter switch which i rarely use.
Is there two types of gray ghosts..... one with a single volume and another with dual volume?______
Joe

The Original Gray Ghost and Gry Ghost Ultimate have a single volume control. The NDT and DMZ versions sport dual volume controls.

Learn something new every day...... You've helped me out before on other subjects and i appreciate that.... Thanks for taking the time to explain that.
Joe

So the only difference is the switch. The nugget busters are the same phones minus the limiter switch? Thanks
