That’s a bummer.

What happened, why did it leak? That King George Coin was overwhelming for it?

That sucks what exactly happened headphone jack?
 
Check the bottom screws on your machine that hold it to the handle mine were loose not much there to prevent water from getting in.
Call Jamie at Minelab I had mine back in 6 days!
 
I don’t think the headphone jack would cause that because the plug is sealed and even with other headphone were plugged into it and even with the cap off it shouldn’t leak there.
I’m thinking Minelab is smarter than that.
Sometimes seals can leak even in the best conditions, they can have flaws in them.
Jamie at Minelab should take care of it.
