NOX depth gauge problems

keith

New member
I really rely on the depth gauge to decide what I am going to dig when looking for silver. Yesterday I was at my hunted out park and found the depth gauge really inaccurate. Clad dimes were especially bad. The gauge would read 5 which should be 8 inches deep but the dime would be no more than 2-3 inches deep. Also the depth gauge would change erratically jumping back and forth. I had the recovery speed set to 1 trying to go deep but found nothing over 5 inches deep.

Any suggestions on how to correct this problem would be appreciated.

The update definitely fixed my gauge inaccuracy but if there is another target close to your main target,
it can bounce all over the place as you sweep the coil over both targets.
Center up and isolate your target for best depth gauge accuracy..
