nox cable 1/8 to 1/4

hi all bought the cable from back of nox to 1/4 I'm using my black widow phones if plugged directing into machine I get dual audio HP and internal speaker same time I f I use my factory minelab phones I only hear phones using mw 8 I only get phones on either sets my question is why

The headphones must be wired differently.
To turn "OFF" the internal speaker, the Equinox must sense a resistance connection between the Ring and Sleeve of the stereo connector on the Equinox. See below:
