Nox and new pinpointers delivery times

I called Kellyco today and they said Minelab said they are planning a before Christmas delivery time for preorders and sometime in January for all other orders. Minelab told Kellyco that their two new pjnpointers would be available this month.

So..... the testing is done and it is what it is? Or all they have to do is make program adjustments? We didnt get a single show of it being used in salt water..... thats really disappointing.

In all reality, the testing has likely been going on for over a year. When they did the reveal at the detectival event it was probably 99% locked in to what it was going to be. Anything else changed would be minor tweeks to programming most likely. These are probably already in full production at the facility in malaysia. The pre-order was apparently larger than expected and it takes time to produce tens of thousands of these and get them shipped to distributors around the world to push out to stores and customers. Heck, it longer than 6 weeks to work out the logistics of getting a group of soldiers and their equipment from deployment to home and they werent trying to build something, just move existing pieces around.

I'm betting a flood of video's will be hitting the forums and you tube this month. I would guess most of the testers have gotten with Minelab providing all the input needed to finish the Nox, but, who knows.

Are you being forced to buy immediately, or are you permitted to wait until it is released and people make those videos?

Lots of time between now and actual delivery for salt testing/videos!! Why don't you ask specific question/concerns directed to "testers" so they might address them for you personally. All the answers and you don't have to get wet and cold.

I'd be willing to bet Drayton has had one for quite awhile. I remember seeing his name as coming to Detectival but I think the hurricane had bad timing for him to show.
After all, if it's a beach machine, someone has had it right Mal.
