Ive been looking at the nox 700, an it seems to be some issues with the shafts turning while hunting. is minelab fixing that problem?

nox 700 shaft question

I have seen the shaft shift some. Not really while detecting, but possibly loading, unloading, and during transit maybe.
Probably tightening the adjustment screw would remedy this, but I am not that concerned with it.. I just re adjust the shaft.
My 800 also does it as I have an aftermarket shaft without the holes and button.

All you do is tighten the adjustable bolt on the locking collar until it stabilizes.

Never had a problem with my 900 just tighten up thumb screws a bit
