Glad you got a deal on your detector. This is out of my minelab xterra pro manual. I believe the equinox 700/900 has the same charging requirements.

I would get a little better charger to be safe. It does however have the 2.0A and 5.volt markings. They're pretty cheap on Amazon and e-bay. Great job on the E-bay bid on your Equinox 700. I love mine. All the corrections that should have been made to the Equinox 600, and lighter to boot.

If you have the Samsung charger, it is not a cheap knock-off, it will serve you well.
