NOW, ya'll know that I REALLY HATE to give things back, but I'm getting a soft touch and hoping for an infusion of mojo, savvy?..............

This one is going back to Ponca City, OK. Contacted the school Monday, via e-mail and got in touch with the boy's father today. He is sending out a $20 cashier's check to cover shipping and handling fees. I like it when a plan comes together! This one was EASY, but many are like beating my head against a wall. I have 4 left, Huntress has taken pics of them and I am going to forward the pics to the schools, with another e-mail. I think some of them think I am some kind of a scam artist, asking for a $20 cashier's check. Fact is, I'm happy to help, but I don't like to lose on a return and I ain't nearly that crafty!

Here is the story of that days hunt:

The ring was lost on July 29 '07, according to the boys father. I recovered it on Dec. 3rd '07. Allow me to describe the days hunt........ It was a blustery day, with North winds howling at 20-25 knots. The tide had blown out exposing the swim area nicely. I began the hunt at 6A at the 1st location, with dismal results. $.39, copper hair barrett w/colored rhinestones and a ferrous hoop earring and moved to another location at 815A. I reentered the water at the next location at 820A and hunted till 9A, with $.26 and a Rainforest Cafe copper penny medallion. I then moved to another spot and got shut out, from 915A-920A. I then ended up at the final location and hunted there, from 930A-1115A and ended up with $.31 and the Ponca City class ring. The ring saved the day on that hunt, as ya'll can see, but now it will make the day of another, who owns it, savvy? OK, I'm ready for my infusiuon of mojo now!

Now Bulgarian, you know me better than that, don't cha? Do you REALLY think I could part with gold mate, now THAT would be a stretch even for the likes of me, LOL! 92.5

I can see where it is hard to give up the gold. This last ring I found is worth 371.00 in scrap. It cost his parents over 800.00 for a class ring!! First 14K high school ring I have ever found. But I feel its worth it in the long run. Nice gulfhunter. I hope it brings you happiness to see it returned.

You know Gulf Hunter, what comes around goes around..... It does happen, so today you give back something and later you get something even better.

I can't take the credit on this one though! Gulf Huntress found this piece a couple of years ago, way up in the parking lot.
