Not too shaby fer havin a 1978 birfday huh? :wiggle:

Little did i know that the base pin retainer pin on these things aint spring loaded like my center fire single actions.
Dint know ya gotta give that retainer pin 'screw' a bit of a turn to lock in the base pin.
Anywho, i went to commencin to seat the ball and sure 'nuf, bent that base pin like a pretzel.
That took all of 'bout 1 minute. The next hour and 14 minutes was spent straightenin out the base pin
and only THEN, was i able to finaly load the thing in the remainin' 15 minutes
Than, after seein how much work it is to clean that blued Old Army, i went and bot me a stainless one.
I'll use the blue one fer center fire .45 LC's only
