Nothin' like a woman braggin' me up to stroke the ol' ego. Yup, I'm shallow and self absorbed.. but happy! ..or maybe it's the pain meds I'm taking. It really sucked that Garrett outed the AT Pro the day AFTER I'd sent in my bux for a White's V3. I've been waiting for something like this for quite the long time, seeing as I nugget hunt in water and look for coins/jewelry in lakes. As it is, I'll just have to resign myself to having 2 big bux detectors. Will be interesting doing comparisons between the 2 though. ..Willy. .

See, you jumped the gun Willy. You could always peddle the V3 unless you just want two high buck machines. You can swing one in each hand and double your pleasure double your fun. HAA. I have a feeling the Pro will steal all the thunder from the V3.

I dunno. There are some pretty nasty areas where I hunt; both Minelab and Garrett PI's really struggle. Strangely enough, some VLF's do better in these areas. The thing with the V3 is all the adjustments that can be made, along with the triple frequency. While the AT Pro looks to be a really fine detector, I have my doubts that it will be the 'be all and end all' of detectors. There's hype, and then there's grim reality. Still ghetting one though. ..Willy.
