Teaching the young ones to pan gold at our spring kick off outing up here in NW Montana. There are 2 rows of these little guys n gals getting down and dirty and learning the basice of panning for gold and metal detecting. A good time was had by all and one heck of a pot-luck as usual. Next month we start our regular outings at the claims as most of the snow is now gone. With the price of gold the way it is I'm sure there will be plenty participants at the oputings.
