Now That Everybody Has Done Their Part Contributing To The Stickys To Answer Most Common Questions That Always Pop Up, People Have No Excuse Not To Ha

I'm doing my part now, even if the hunt was a bust like today, because Ron asked a while back that we make an effort to post little stories about our hunts, even if we didn't really find much. I've neglected posting a lot of my hunts over the last year or two because I always found it more fun to try to help people and answer a few questions, or to dig up some threads for them on a subject when I wasn't sure.

Now that everybody has done their part to fill the stickys with some helpful information that everybody always seems to spend a lot of time answering the same questions over and over again on that always pop up there simply isn't any excuse for people to not spending more of their time posting some of your finds and stories about your hunts.

So even if you didn't find much, even a little story about how the machine did for you in stability or depth compared to how it's always been for you prior to running a Sovereign or a certain coil there would I'm sure be of interest of people to read. Stories about meeting Joe Public are always interesting too, as they often have strange questions or assumptions about metal detectors as we all know.

I plan to not only do a better job of posting my field reports of my excursions with this machine more often now where I didn't say much about many of my hunts in the past, but I also plan to post more pictures of my finds, coins still in the hole, and of course now that I've figured out how to upload video to youtube and edit it, I want to do some more videos with the Sovereign on hunts as well as more various staged tests to compare to other popular tests people always do with machines on Youtube. Staged testing is a great way to get a general idea of what a machine might be capable of and learn a few things, which is why they are one of the more popular videos done with detectors on youtube, and of course a favorite of mine to both watch and do my own testing to compare.

So post your finds and post your field reports so we can pay back Ron a little for doing an excellent job in running this forum as well as being of great service to the Sovereign community. :beers:
