I figure because a lot of folks will be selling their E-Trac to help fund the new CTX 3030. Keep your eyes open and you should be able to get a great deal on a great machine.I figure if I get the new Minelab I will keep my E-Trac as it has paid for its self several times over in our 3+ year relationship :inlove:

Price of the CTX 30/30 I think a few 2nd hand houses will be coming up for sale cheap as well..

I'm keeping both my e tracs also!!,can't wait to get the new CTX,heck I might even overnight the delevery....I'm so impatient...LOL

Hey Bryce you want to go half's ??? on this CTS3030 JUST IN CASE THIS DOG WONT HUNT  OOOOOOOOOOOOBUDDY.

Bryce I am going to wait for your field test before I buy one. :poke:

You guys ain't grabbin up the latest, greatest fishin pole????----I'm getting one IMMEDIATELY (if not sooner)! ;)

E-Trac is staying put. Just adding the CTX3030 to the herd.

Can't make to much comment on the new CTX as like most of you out there I haven't had one in my hand as yet. I can say I probably won't have one soon (If at all) for some time as if the reported prices are true they are way out of my ability to pay.

Having owned my E-Trac since Sept. 2010, I am finally becoming comfortable with the machine and seem to be starting to use and understand the functions to the point I am pulling coins with some of the crappiest readings (audio, and Target I.D.) you can imagine, but my ear seems to be tuning to sounds that catch my attention and by using the Quick Mask feature (to get the best target seperation) and a lot of patents I am picking out some really nice coins (27 silver coins since the first of April including a 1904 Barber Half) out of some really horribly trashy sights.

If this new machine is better then my E-Trac, It will have to be proven to me. Rick IL

I heard last night that the price for the CTX3030 is......2499.00 with wireless feature..2299.00 without......NGE

Grumpy----It's hard/impossible to give up a first love!!!----Just keep her (Etrac), give her a special place in the house and tell her there is a "Gunfighter" distant cousin (CTX) coming to town for a visit.------I'm sure it will all work out for the three of ya.-------------Dr. Del

just get on Ebay and look at the big dealers taking 'pre-orders' for the $$ of it and the options for the 3030. That big coil looks sweet!
I got an Etrac - AT Pro combo, but with the waterproof feature... that pretty much makes it a 2-detector to 1 detector game now

And yes it is a good time to get a ecxellent Etrac for a good price, just gor one from Richard @ Backwoods retectors with 30 month trasferable warranty for a GREAT DEAL. Nice to do bussines with Richard, This is my 2nd Etrac from him.
