Now in Michigan, problem with Bandito 1 old style....

I don't know if it's that so much crap is in my yard or my machine has gone nuts in the move but my trusty Brown box Bandito 1 won't GB???? Makes no diff where the GB is set it responds positivtly to the earth??????(7 inch con coil) HELP!!!! I'm crippled without my ultra trash machine! I haven't tried my Bandito 2 (old one) yet. My minelab Sov XS works flawlessly as long as I leave it set to auto on the sens off auto it acts erractic. I'm hoping it's just interferance in the area I have not tried it away from the house yet, been too busy and new to the area, don't know where to go?? I'm living in Menominee,MI now just over the Wis. border.....brrrrrrrr! Thanks for any help!

Hmmm ... and older home? I have trouble finding a place in my yard where I can ground balance. Lots of nails and wire.

Try the Bandito 2 and another location.

I had no idea where Menominee is, so out of curiosity I google mapped it. There appears to be a lot of water and beaches near by just waiting for you and that Stingray 2. I think you will be busy hunting once you are settled in and have adjusted to the weather.
Good luck!

Hi There

First thing check battery's, Put new in, Batterys can be charged with Volt meter/ big Voltage drop on Machine.
Is the coil connected tight ?
Move location( Power Lines close By, OR Radio ham ??
Still problems try a different coil if possible.

Hope this helps

I shur hope so I hate to lose it, it's been a killer trash machine and found me lots o goodies! I guess i can still hunt here until the ground freezes, I was out in the yard in 25 deg weather diggin' Hardcore? who me? :~)

I am sure Tesoro will make her right.
