It's a bit of a no-no to mention the K store
There are a lot of businesses that sponsor ($$) the forum and K Co, isn't one of them. While I've used them, I found that I can get just as good a deal through the sponsors and I prefer them too. I've dealt with Doc's Place and Sunray (Ralph). Excellent people who really know their stuff. Both offered great quick service on purchases or when I had a problem or needed a repair and I could actually talk to them on the phone.
KellyCo is kinda looked down upon as being the "Walmart" of metal detector dealers. They say they have the lowest prices but if you look around, basically everyone has the same prices give or take a couple of bucks. As far as the freebies they offer, I know first hand that they're not really worth it and they're not really free. (they charge you "shipping and handling" for the free items). So for me, I'll stick with the sponsors or local small businesses...
