.... First let me tell you about what a nice guy Elson has become regardless of what Falk and Shelby .... and sometimes what Betty says about him. I got a call from Elson the night before I left for the Biloxi White's dealer meeting. He wanted to know when my flight would arrive so he could pick me up at the airport. I really appreciated that. Well he was there right on time.
He offered to show me all his favorite sights around Biloxi, so sure, lets go. Apparently all his favorite sites include any casino, Jeff Davis's home, the Coliseum and some run down looking place with a sign that said "Cajun RV Park / Camp Grounds.
He then told me we needed to get me checked into my hotel room because he needed to start filling up the back of his van with casino donkey's($20 bills). Here is "the man" sitting in my room telling me to hurry up, I'm wasting his valuable time.

We then headed down to the casino where he began punishing the penny slot machines while I filled up the 3 card poker casino pit with Florida donkeys. There were so many of my donkeys in that pit you couldn't hear nothing but braying Florida donkeys. I went and pulled Elson off his slot machine and suggested he save another dollar's woth of pennys for a different casino. A short drive later we arrived at the new casino.
Well the next casino took that last dollar (of the two he had budgted to lose) of Elson's so he walked up to where I was playing Caribbean poker. I hit a natural 4 Aces in my hand that got me ahead about 25 donkeys so I figured it was time to leave and go back to my hotel meet up with the White's dealers after trying a bit more 3 card poker.
After driving what seemed a very long time ... Elson pulled a high speed U-turn .... tires squealing .... on a red traffic light .... and we headed back from where we just left. Elson told me, "You know Ed, since the hurricane, they must have put wheels on most all these newly re-built casinos so they can move them around. I wasn't really lost, they just must have moved your hotel."
Elson had to leave earlier than he had originally planned a few months ago because of some personal business, so he left an hour or so before dinner.
By the way Elson, I've added to my donkey ranch last night. Thanks for the airport pick up, the tour, and all the laughs.
