November Finds

I pulled most of these finds out of the ball diamond area of a local park. Two of the silver dimes were almost directly under the outfield fence. The Stealth X-5 coil is good for searching under wire fence. Found 3 or 4 wheat pennies in that area along close to the fence too. The silver quarter was 8" down and directly in front of it buried in the ground vertically was a 2" pipe. The X-5 done a good job nulling and i.d.ing the pipe, and quarter. Showing at 11-46"

The V nickels and buffaloes are rather corroded as usual. V's gave a 23-11 or 23-12 reading. Buffaloes averaged 13-12 or 14-12. Average depth 5-7 inches on either. Found these within a 50 feet radius behind the ball diamond left field fence. The Jeffersons are rather common.

The wheaties were 4-6" in depth. The 2 corroded disks I believe are V or Shield nickels. Badly corroded. Indianhead penny was in a hollowed out bottom of a tree. Just happened to put the coil in there for the fun of it. Remarkably good shape after a cleaning off.

The relics I really liked finding was the cast iron grape shot ball (9" down) and the tax token (2" down). Thought I'd throw in the other items also. The clad change shown is about half of what I found of it so far. Hope you like these pictures!!

Awesome haul of coins! The X-5 is a great coil to get into those tight areas and pull out the keepers! Way to go!
