t's been several weeks since I could get out and hunt. First off, I had sent my ATP's in for the upgrade and a repair on one and then I had to have some minor surgery that left me with stitches that I didn't want to get infected so I stayed clean and cool. Thursday the stitches came out and the doc pronounced me healed so this I loaded up the ATP's and headed for the lake. What a great morning too. It was fairly overcast and that helped keep the heat down and the sun off my shiny new scar!! It was slow going at first, then the targets started flowing pretty good. I spent 3 hrs. in the water and came up with this!!

I managed 1 18k wedding band at 5.7 grams, one tiny 10k ring at 0.7 grams, one 925 band, one 925 earring and a junk copper ring along with the usual suspects. Here's some closeup pics after a clean and polish!!

It sure felt good to be outside again, doing what I like best....finding loot!!!
I might go again tomorrow morning as I left when the crowds started showing up, right after the 18k ring came up in my scoop!! Didn't want to appear greedy to the detecting gods!!

Looks like you had a great day for rings, love that 18 K ring especially, CONGRATS.
HOPE YOUR NEXT EXCURSION TURNS OUT AS GOOD!
STAN.

I see you paid homage to the pull tab gods as well :)

That is sure a nice way to start things off again.

Nice Hunt

That is one great day ring wise......nice reward for down time due to medical issues. Hope the rest of the summer is at least as good to you as this hunt was. :hot:
