But here are a couple of my favorite trout holes. One is south of the mountain and one is north of it. Many movie scenes have been shot on the banks of one lake - Trillium Lake, the top pic.

What part of Illinois do you hail from Brock? I was yanked up back there on the banks of the Mississippi. Still have kin back there.

Near-north suburbs of Chicago, as of right now. Hope to be moving out of the rat-race within two years.
 
Good for you. Been to Chicago many times. Lived in Evanston when I was a kid. Worked in Waukegan many moons ago in the dead of winter. BRRRRR! My buddy and I went of a three-day drinking spree in Chicago many years ago and done the grand tour of Skid Row. Now that was an experience and a half. <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)">
