Nothing to Brag About

Ok... This probably isn't worth posting but here it is any way. I got permission to hunt an old site (Circa 1860's) this evening so me and friend went by and hit it for an hour or so. Well, we were disappointed because of what we came away with. There was a good bit of trash so we plan to go back with smaller coils. My finds: 2 Wheats, 1 Memorial, and a bunch of junk. The plate shard was a nice dig with one of the Wheats. Anyway... it was a good afternoon to get out and enjoy the hunt... You can't find anything unless you go.

Hoping you will be able to get back there and retrieve some older coins

That piece of pottery is an indication of older coins in the area. Good luck on your next visit there.
