My yard has yielded coins as far back as 1886 so far. Just three years younger than the house itself. Today I just wanted to run the Compadre for a few minutes to relax. Our consulting business has been busy and it's almost time for show season again so it will go nuts for a few months. Then back off through December and go whole hog January through May. Anyway a few minutes found a lot of simple junk from pull tags to square iron nails ( I could load buckets with them). Finally a decent coin signal and three cents came out of the same hole. Nothing special just three Lincolns, 1978D, 1980, and a 1986. But after months of not even turning the Compare on it felt great. You never know what the next signal will be and that's the fun of it. This may be a inexpensive machine but it has more than given back in fun and relaxation.
