When you have no discrimination (i.e nothing selected in 'select' option. For example coins, screw caps etc) are you basically in iron mask -16?
 
No, if you don't select anything to disc out the screen automatically has iron disced out so you are in iron mask 0. HH, George (MN)
 
If you select a clear screen in select surely there will be no discrimination just the same as setting iron mask at -16
 
OK Will, I forgot it was possible to clear the screen in select, but you do of course have to select clear so it is selecting something (pressing a button) as I think before you get to select the detector screen shows all iron rejected (factory setting). Now do I have it right? HH, George (MN)
