Notch width control on the golden.....

I'm looking at becomming an owner of a golden pretty soon....I watched 2 videos from a person named 53 silver about setting the notch to knock out foil and Pull tabs , but yet hit on various sizes and Karats of gold rings. and nickles too...

Now, I know this isn't 100% full proof and theres always exceptions to the rule.... But, has this feature increased your takehome ring total on your outings??

Right now I'm probably digging between 200-300 junk tabs and foil/ per 1 gold ring.. its would sure be sweet if I could increase my odds....

Any thoughts or comments on this..

The golden is primarily a park and school yard machine , it gets about 6"- 8" depending on the size of the coin/object . That being said I love mine ! Great coin and jewellery machine .

I just really want to make sure this notch width works as depicted in the vids....I have "other depth demons" to use to find deep silver and coppers..... What I'm looking for should be in the 1 to 6 inch range...
