Bought Tesoro Cortes December 2007, used frequently all year. These finds plus about $70.00 in clad and and non-wheat cents and lots of pull tabs, screw caps and junk along the way.

Looks like you and the Cortes are a good mix. Nice haul.

Thanks, I enjoy seeing other peoples finds also, it lets me know that there are still good finds in the ground out there for the days when you can't seem to find anything but rotted zinc cents and screw caps (everybody has those days).
The oldest coins I've yet to dig is Indian cents 1901, 1901, 1903, 1906, they came as a surprise from a homesite that had been bulldozed clean with footings dug for a habitat for humanity home. My son (also saved up and bought a Cortes) and I just on a whim saw it one afternoon after the workers had gone and decided to give it a try, he found 1895, 1904 Indian cents at same site (none of his coins pictured).
The oldest silver I've dug is 1916 and a 1919S "mercury" dime, the only standing liberty quarter is undateable (sad). I'm still huntin' for any Barber and seated coins, Needless to say where hooked on a good hobby and go as often as I can.
