Hit the same house I have been hitting. Didn't find much but did find a 1918 Canadian 10 cent piece

Nice what part of jersey ya from?

Yeah, being from NJ myself it is crazy the amount of forgein coins you will find in this state.

Very cool find!! That coin looks in great shape too, congrats!

I am in south Jersey near Rowan university. 15 min outside philly

You Jersey guys if you ever wanna go out together let me know

Nice save !!

It doesn't seem unusual at all to me that you would find more foreign coins in a colonial-era state. A longer occupation equals more people passing through equals more coin drops. Anyways I love those old Canadian silver coins, last year I found a 1966 dollar, a few old dimes and one 1906 five cent "fish scale" ... being 60 miles from the Canadian border helps too.

That's a really nice one. The king is usually rubbed pretty badly

Great save! You should see the 5 cent coins from the same era...they are smaller than the dime and quite thin. We call them fish scales.

Nice to see you made it, DH. Welcome!

Kmaych7... How about extending the offer to us DE neighbors just across the bridge? Seems like we're always forgotten. HH
