Today, me and Luke used our respective "air loose" cards and got the morning off for detection. Well considering the cold and rain, our wifes didn't had any plans like we did!
Well first stop was a small beach we visited this summer. Didn't expected mutch but luke was fortunate to get the first gold of the day, a small gold ring. Well he was happy after being skunked a few times in a row. We got a few more coins, but we taugh that was it for the place, as we were detecting towards the car, luke got a second gold. I was walking towards him to take a look at it and I got a signal as well... and it was a gold ring for me too! A few more coins were found in the same small area. Strange... as if the was a 10 feet by ten feet undetected.
So we left for a second beach, near by, also visited before, but a few weeks ago. So we expected a few finds. Well we were not too disapointed, got a bunch of coins and one gold... looking earring. Not sure if it's gold. Looks stamped, but not sure. I cant locate my acid test, but it looks good. Luke got a silver chain, but that's about it for jewels.
My total is 28.33$ and we're glad because we didn't had to drive four hours to get those finds.
