I have posted this pic on another site but not much help thought i would check with you guys and see what yall think it was detected at a house built in 1860 but its obviously not that old just looking for some age guesses and also it is marked Sterling T2 what does the T2 mean thanks for any help guys....

I guess homemade by a hobbyist Native American, the late 40's, 50's, 60's. Being that much of the jewelry that I see on line that is marked T2 is from Mexico. But seeing that it is marked Sterling the cufflinks minus the stones may have been imported to Mexico in bulk via Great Britain, still just a guess.

Not that it matters but forgot to add the part that comes straight out of the cufflink tilts up and down just a little extra information

That's so it fits into the button holes in the shirtsleeve cuff then is opened back up so it holds the sleeve closed, the part without the stone is hinged. That style fits into circa 40's, 50's, and 60's.

Do you mean there are 2 moving parts? The T section hinges of course, but it seems you mean that the part connecting to the stone section also tilts.

yes thats what i am saying the part connected to the stone also swings back and forth and then also the sleeve part it self of course moves to keep it from coming out of your cuff

I am pretty sure the T2 is the style of cufflink
