Usually can't hunt much this time of year. Got out to a site that was recently torn down but unfortunately got pounded before we got to try it. Managed one coin, an 1867 no rays shield nickel. Rough shape but I've only ever found a few of these. Grateful to get out and get a keeper!

Only found 1 and thought it was an electrical box knockout plug? Thought I'd better take it home for cleanup just in case? After cleaning all I could get was bars on the shield. Yours looks like a BU condition compared to the one I found 25 years ago in a N. Idaho park....... GREAT find you got there!!!!!!!
