Not metal, just want to know what they are

Not positive but the shape of the unbroken ones look like oyster shells to me.
 
Oyster shells are great evidence of an early house site, it water, it could be their habitat, if you are on a lake, maybe in days of old they had oyster roast and chucked the shells in the water.
