Today my brother in law Tim dude couldn't go hunting so i went. Decided i would try to learn. So i took my 250 and big coil and went to schoolyard i hunt. But this time sensitivity at 4 or 5 usually run it wide open.Went to two bad areas that i cruse through because of trash and iron.Been through with mxt idx and 250 before.Well started hunting all metal sound like Mose code every swing 4 to 8 signals trash iron junk ding ding real fast if you don't listen you will miss it must move slow.So now i start to switch through modes while circle the area trying to hear in the junk.Coin mode you sometimes will hear it because trash overrides it, hear it again now i start to look through center of coil to locate it by sound and site, because signal has 1/2 second delay to see were it is and not the trash find spot then i start to work that little tiny area while going through modes finally pull the signal out now start to go through modes to see which signals i can cancel out the junk. Finally pinpoint were it is and dig.Not many coins but these are the one everyone walked away from, these are were some of the good coins hide. Now that big coil even on 4 and 5 was pulling 5 to 6inches in heavy trash and i dug 3 bottle caps a copper rod with lead on it and two pieces of foil. The car is for my brother in law needs work he probably thinks it good,I told him on the phone i found him a car.The coins were 2 to 6 inches in gravel and rocks and iron and trash. So iam amazed again at the 250 the engineer was a genius it is a great detector for the price.Yes i will try other detector iam a metal detector nut.But the 250 holds a spot in the hall of fame.Good luck good hunting.Tim dude i think this car needs the body shop.[attachment 34917 DSCN8165.JPG]
