And that's just were I found the engagement ring about thirty minutes later..Got a call after lunch today..lost last night, was "kinda" drunk, but pretty sure,it's in the yard!
Even though they had torn the apartment and car apart,I had my doubts since they didn't have an awareness to where it was lost....Lucky!!.....thin band white gold 14k/diamond down in the grass not visible TID6 705/10x5 HF DD...GL ALL

Nice job!

Doing good like that makes everyone with a detector look good!

Thanks for chasing

That's 'thanks for sharing,' not 'chasing'!
I dunno bout this smartphone sometimes...

:clapping: That's super Bob!
Reuniting important items with their owners is fun and has it's own reward that's hard to describe.
Doesn't hurt that it makes the hobby look good too.

I'd love to find something that I could return to the owner. That has to be a great feeling.

I spent a few months trying to find the owner on a thick men's wedding band that I found. I couldn't believe how many people came out of the wood work after I made a post on Craigslist. They get pretty creative trying to convince you that it's theirs but nobody was ever able to tell me the initials inside of the ring. I finally changed the post to read "if you can tell me the initials inside of the ring I will promptly return it to you. I will only reply if you can tell me exactly what initials and date are in the ring". I realize that some guys forget their anniversary date but anyone would know their's and their wife initials.

A bi thumbs up from me Bob :clapping::biggrin:
