When I started hunting today, a couple of the regulars told me that there were 2 detectors in the same area yesterday and that they had cleaned the area out. I guesss they missed a couple. The gold band is 18K (4.5 grams) and the 925 weighs in at 6.5 grams. I did find a 1957 Wheatie, which is a rarity for me. I have only found one other Wheatie in 2 years, a 1937.

Nice finds Steve. Good friend of mine found a couple of old spanish coins in El Capitolio, San Juan area. Just down the cliff in the sand by a small brick wall. Have you ever hunted in that area?

Awesome loot dude! Man I'm inspired and envious. It just isn't goin' our way in Galveston right now. Need some strong west wind to stir things up a bit. Been promising to go and lake hunt. Waiting for coastwise to get out there. Hope you're luck holds. GH
