Not exactly potatoes, but I'll take em!

These are a few pics . The most impressive is the 18kt. gold chain and cross both found together here in Northern Idaho, not exactly potatoes, but I'll take em!

Of course I didnt find this stuff in one outing, over the past year, cashed in most of the coins, what should I do with all the silver and gold? How would I go about selling it? Thanks for the replies!

OK, I should have read the last post. What you can do is try & it out right on Ebay. After cleaning up the jewelry & evaluating its condition. You will get the most for it that way.

Next, you can send it or take it to a precious metals dealer & they will pay the going price (less a set precentage), for bulk gold & silver. The more you have, the more they will pay. So, you may want to wait aawhile & accumulate more gold & silver or combined your finds with a friend to get more weight.

I hope this helps & HH

Nice finds. I like the necklace. HH Dennis in Idaho

Hi from Australia! I sell my finds at the weekend markets, you can sell on ebay, local papers etc. It's best if you have a proper valuation certificate for the items. The only precious metals that I send to the refiners are items that are damaged etc. Hope this helps. HH regards Nugget.:detecting:
