NOT BAD FOR CLAD

Hi all, went out this AM (0730 to 0830) at the soccer fields. Started out with my MXT w/the 6 X 10 DD on it and NADA, just couldn't seem to pick up anything but zincons. Back to the truck and thought I'd try out the Super 12(never tried it out at this place before). No mistake now , WOW, this super 12 is a Quarter magnet.
In the 1 hour I got 14 Quarters, 2 nickels, and 3 cents. 5 of the quarters were near or on the top of the ground. The rest were 6 to 8 inches down. When I can (and if I can) I'll put'em on here. They are so dirty I'll have to tumble them. Sorry no silver that I could see. This is going for my new DX-1 for my new MXT PRO I'm getting for my birthday. Nancy, sorry I can't get them on as this new camera needs some help from somebody, LOL Thanks for looking and HH all. Kay C.

Hi Kay C, Great to hear you got out for a while and that 12" coil is doing it's job! That's one nice coin count. When you do get the DX-1, you'll wonder why that wasn't the first accessory that you purchased from day one. I won't be without mine. It's like sliced bread! Maybe better. ;) Really good hearing from you and wish I was there to help you with your camera. You'll figure it out. You're probably making it seem harder than it really is. You take care and it's great to hear that you were able to get and in the fresh air and hunt. HH, Nancy

Hi KC, good to hear from you and that you are back collecting quarters..............:clapping: That Super 12 covers a lot of ground in short order too, second only to the Bigfoot in sports fields. I'm glad your digging those nickel signals too.............. one of these days.........:yikes:

Hi Nancy. The Super 12 did it again this AM. I went over on the other side of the soccer field and found 3 quarters in 1 hole. Didn't find anymore around the bleachers, so started walking the edge of the field, found 4 quarters in another hole. 6 feet the far side of the goal on the same field I found 5 quarters in a hole, plus 1 dime, all clad and 2 pennies on the ground. So this AM wasn't bad today either for 1 hr and 15 min.. Thanks for looking, HH KC

Yes,.... That 12" coil is a real bear to swing for hours but it can really nail those coins. When I got my mxt 300 all I had was the 12"er so it went everywhere, beach, tot parks, fields. It has great depth and I do not have a problem pin pointing with it. Those quarters do scream under its' power. Great hunt and nice hoard of clad!! I have heard some people on forums knock the 12 but it has dug dimes at 10" - 12" without a problem at the beach.:detecting:
