Not another soccer medallion!

Doing a baseball/soccer field, I got a loud signal and high numbers. A quick glance made me think it was a soccer memorabilia medallion or a referee's heads-or-tails coin. But at home I washed it off and it turned out to be a local market's "good-for" token, still being used, worth $10! That's what I call "efficient" detecting [finding few, but high-value, items]. Happy Thanksgiving. Count your blessings-you may have more than you thought.

Nice steve. I didn't know any tokens were still being used. Happy thanksgiving!!!!!!!!

Hmmmm...I was unaware that tokens were still being used as well...Cool if you can actually get something for it...

HH,

Our Nugget Market sells these "tokens" for $10, to be used as gifts or rewards, like gift cards or certificates. Mine had all the gilding worn off, but it's still spendable at Nuggett.
