These are pictures,,of a 'cottage cheese' bottle I found in the ditch of the house my ex and I owned in West Branch, here in Michigan.About 5-3/4" tall, wide mouth for a paper seal, wide base, clear glass.Embossed on one side is 'cottage cheese' in flowing script,on the other,'SUNNYSIDE DAIRY,WEST BRANCH,MICHIGAN. H.E.JACKSON,PHONE 175'....On the bottom of the bottle,a large 'SS',presumably for SunnySide Dairy......I put blue water into it to enhance the detail,kinda,anyways....I contacted the West Branch Historical Society, concerning this bottle, and was told I have the ONLY SURVIVING EXAMPLE OF A SUNNYSIDE DAIRY BOTTLE that was in business in West Branch,Michigan,it dates from the late 1930's,to mid 1940's.....They also said 'PLEEEZE,WOULD YOU CONSIDER DONATING IT TO OUR MUSEUM??We will give you receipt for fair market value, for tax purposes'......Um,no thanks. It now resides on a display shelf in my living room......
