Not a good day for finding but a spectacular day to just hang around the beach

Goldringer

New member
Spent a few hours under today and only came home with 2 rings. One is some kind of small silver and the other is one of those trendy Tungsten Carbide worthless diggins. Will never understand why someone would spend good money on a ring made from metal ment to be used for a drill bit.

I wouldn't say that it is exactly worthless being that is not plain Tungsten but Tungsten Carbide, retail starts around $250 usually with a warranty against scratching or loosing its polished finish.

I was thinking about replacing my wedding band with one of these since it is a better deal than I got with my original which is now a dull piece of 18K gold I've had for 40 years, most of that time it has been on my dresser due to my working around machinery as a maintenance mechanic.

More info at
http://www.titanium-jewelry.com/about-tungsten.html

:poke:Want to trade for the 18K? It's a size 9 3/4 or 10, comfort fit 9MM wide and looking brand new. Actually it is listed for $599 retail on the website for the company. I found it discounted at several others for $249.

I like gold. I have found a few of these as well as titanium. I still like gold.
