North Carolina relics

artifact junkie

New member
Hey ya'll, found these in the mountains of North Carolina. Not sure what they are or what they were used for. Thanks for looking and helping me out!

The stone with the drilled shaft appears to be Indian related. I forget what they are called but I think a small spear was hurled using this attached to a stick. The bottom 2 pics I believe were used to hand set out tobacco plants. I have used similar ones here on the farm when we had tobacco. Can't help with the other whatzits. Nice items for a collection though.

The piece with the hole drilled in it is called an atale (sp?) weight or something like that. It predates the bow and arrow ...If found intact , they are worth $2000-$3000. Nice artifacts you found.
