Norm Garnush, The Golden Olde?

Can somebody post the accurate link to Norm's writings? I used to have it bookmarked and would read it from time to time for inspiration and ideas, but its been archived. Plus, theres a few new hunters that would benefit from the knowledge Norm gave us before he left for the Streets of Gold. Thanks!

google changed a few back. They used to archive everything, and the proper phrase search would reveal it. Thats where the text was imbedded. I would like a copy of his writings as well. I hope some treasure hunter out there kept a copy. Because now google does not allow archived sites to be searched, i think they got in trouble for it.

Anyone with the golden oldie on board?

sonnar, just saved this site to favourites, wonderful site. trouble is there are no pictures just red crosses. im not too good with computers maybe you could say where im going wrong! thanks steve

The site is slow to load, you might try giving it a few minutes. Another idea is to use a different browser such as Firefox or Chrome.

I copied Norm's site to CD which includes all of the original pictures.

I'd be happy to provide this so long as there are no issues with releasing the material as it is Copyright(ed) which means I shouldn't have copied it in the first place.....ooops.

It's nice to have the pictures though and maybe they would have been lost forever ?

...Norms writings are indeed a treasure and can be a life changing experience for those that want to hunt the sand for treasure, especially gold...one of these days, most of us here will be gone and along with us all the tips and tribal knowledge we learned about this Sport....

I will say this, after reading Norms advice, I have adopted a super wide and fast swing pattern he ascribed to for covering wide expanses of beach efficiently..it has carried over into sports field hunting as well....its cool to utter a 'Thankyou' after a good find to a guy I never knew, one who passed on his knowledge to us..and for all of you other posters here who do the same....somehow ties us all together, knowing he did not live a Life unappreciated, good on ya Tony for pulling a copy....

club members back in the day, we would meet up at the Brazoria library building in Brazoria, TX. Hunted a couple of times with Norm at Galveston but haven't hunted that area since Norm passed. Don't know what happened to his wife, Claudette, hopefully she is doing fine. John

I'm happy to email what I copied. There are 110 stories with embedded photo's (same as the website link but with the original photo's).

It is 8MB in total so not too big.

I'm sure Norman wouldn't mind as it keeps the legacy continuing.

Just PM me with your email address and I will forward on.

Thanks to Norman !!!

Tony.
