So much fun today...pictures to follow. My buddy Joe and I donned our rain gear and made it the beach for about 4 hours today. The beach really seemed to be hit or miss. After 45 minutes of detecting, I had found only 3 clad coins and started to get a little frustrated. I knew there were coins lines, but where? Finally Joe and I found a very hot spot. I ended up with 8 silver dimes (2 Barbers), 1 junk rings, a very worn 10k ring, a heavy silver chain, a 14k Saint Anthony medal, a small old metal toy horse, 2 huge gambling tokens, some wheaties, a buffalo nickel, and big pile of clad. Joe had at least 5 silver dimes. We hunted along side Dan K. and his friend. Before I left, Dan had a Barber quarter and a silver dime. I know he found some gold too. Get your share before the beach fills back in!
