NoobSauce Beginner...

FooserPaul

New member
Hello all!

We'll I'm the newest beginner... I've been reading and reading today... I bought a shiny new BH Land Star today... Forget about having holes in my clue bag... I don't have a clue bag...

But I like the idea of burying some items and playing with the BH to learn more about how it works... I have the modes down I believe... But I did dig up a few pieces of scrap, nails, gumwrapers... Left my digger a little to close to my scan area a few times.... DoH!

All in all... I had fun and I'm excited to learn, read some more... and then get out tomorrow...

Anyone else in Connecticut lurking about here?

hahaha, that's cool fooser paul. i had a good laugh on your intro topic. "noobsauce" haha, that's about as new as it gets! but hey paul, play around with your test garden some more, and make sure to read your manual twice. oh, there's all kinds of good colonial sites in ct. it makes me daydream. they are literally everywhere up there. i'm in va., so i can't help you on that. welcome to a great forum and hobby. there's plenty of good and talented people on here to answer any question you might have. practice your swings, and keep your coil low and slow. and be patient. hh,

I would go to a Border's or Barnes and Nobel store and look for History Books about your local areas...Look for books about Civil War, French and indian War, Revolutionary War, etc...Like Ghost said...lots of history in your neck of the woods...You should have no problem finding places to hunt....
BTW...You might have guessed I am also a Land Star swinger

Happy Hunting,

BH-LandStar

Welcome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Im new here as well. Another place to find info is the public library. They may have a book of the history in the county you live in. Might even find some old town maps.
HH, Wes.
