Non-metalic Sifter

[attachment 41497 sifter.JPG]Thought I would post a picture of this sifter design. Its made from a small bread rack with pool noodles around, secured with zip ties. ("L" shaped makes for a more stable platform). The mesh is Liche basket mesh (try Chinatown) which holds up quite well, but needs replacing every few years. Then tie a loop of inner tube around to secure your scoop, and another small one for your water bottle. With it you can check baskets of sand on the tray.

This is the sifter that I use, it has really increased productivity. I don't have to spend a bunch of time looking for targets just dump scoop in sifter and move on let waves do all of the work. Its also vibra probe friendly which also speeds up recovery, and helps with very small stuff sinkers, ear rigns, etc. Good luck to all!
