NOKTA MAKRO COIL ASSORTMENT

Nokta Detectors

Active member
Dear Valued Customers,

Due to customer feedbacks and requests, we have made some changes to the Nokta / Makro coil assortment as outlined below:

• RC26/FC26/FR26 coils have been discontinued and replaced with RC24/FC24/FC24 coils. This new 9.5’’x5’’ non-buoyant design offers convenient use under water.
• FGP24 has been added to the Fors Gold+ coil assortment.
• We have added a new 5’’ coil (IM13) to the Impact coil assortment.

Nevermind. Looked at picture.
Seems my older elliptical coils will become collector's items lol.
Well Im sure the new ones perform even better :)
Looks like I have more coils to buy!!!
Thanks Dilek for the update.
As always most transparent co oany out there
:)

Oh, when will these be available at dealers?
Also what's the difference between the older 5" relic and racer coul and the newer "im13" could?

'Stoof,' there is no difference in the physical size of the search coil. It is in the same housing as my 5" DD for my FORS Relic and 5" DD for my Racer 2. The difference is that the 5" DD for the Impact was designed after Dilek and I had a discussion about the results I had with the small elliptical DD on a very challenging test against a CoRe, Relic, Racer and Racer 2 using factory and after-market small coils. The 'Nokta team' went to work and engineered a small DD for the Impact that works at all three frequencies quite well, and designed it for the 5" round housing.

When I got my test sample 5" I immediately put it to the test in side-by-side comparisons, then used it at a couple of really nasty iron littered ghost towns. It worked great, and I reported back. Dilek soon notified me I could talk about it and that it would soon be implemented as an accessory coil. They are quick!

I like the small elliptical 4X7½ DD coil for a lot of urban Coin Hunting in typically trashy sites with modern litter. Pull tabs, pry tabs, screw caps, foil, etc., etc. It works well in low-to modest trashy sites, and it passes my Nail Board Performance Test when I use an Indian Head or modern Zinc Cent (USA). But the tough challenge we did was using a 50% less weight Capped Bust Half-Dime. It is much narrower in diameter and very, very thin. On the Nail Board it didn't perform well, but the new 5" DD performs on that test about on-par with the FORS Relic using the same size and type coil.

So there's no difference in size, shape or internal winding configuration between all the different 5" DD coils. They just work on their assigned models, such as the 14 kHz Racer series, the 19 kHz FORS Relic, and now there is one for the 3-Frequency Impact.

Am I correct in assuming there is not a concentric coil for the Red Racer?
