nokta impact noise

Well, I was doing some experimenting with my nokta in the middle of a bean field with no power lines around. I was using a set of gray ghost headphones, and it had a lot of noise. I then switched over to a Z-Lynk wireless system by Garrett, and the machine was quiet as a mouse except for an occasional blip from hitting a hard bean stalk. So if anyone else is having the same problem, try changing headphones. Thanks to Druid for his advise.

I just got the Anfibio and have the Garrett wireless headphones on order. I use to run the At Max and really liked the setup, especially with the ZLynk pinpointer, which I still have, and one more reason for going with this headphone set-up. I do have the headphone adapter jack coming too.

New detectors are pushing over the edge of being quiet for depth. Some times, you have to back off the power.
