Nokta FR26 5.5x10 coil cover?!

I can't find it anywhere.
Will the Makro rc26 cover fit? Same dimensions. It's even black!!
I just can find one for this coil.
Thanks! !

It arrives today so I'll let you gents know.
Supposedly all makro/nokta covers work on their coils as long as they are the same dimensions

Yeah it fits I guess.
Not as tight of a fit bUT that's probably normal. They could have made the walls a bit higher I think because of the chamfer on the bottom of the shell. Seems that either the front fully seats but it doesn't fall off, so I guess it's good!!
When it cools a bit here today, I'll go out for a couple hours.

What is coil tape? Electrical tape?

Nope. Do you have a detecting shop near you? It's a fibrous, sticky tape that doesn't have any metal in it. Coiltek uses it on their coils from the factory. You can order it from places like Arizona Outback. Maybe someone has used something similar from Home Depot and will chime in. Seems to be more popular with the detector-prospector crowd to keep dirt from getting in between the coil and the skid plate.

Oh. I'll look into it.
Electrical tape is vinyl tape.
For me to order I'd have to pay shipping on just tape haha .
Do you have a picture?

It's called skid plate tape. It's on Arizona Outback's website with a pic. $13.00. Don't know what it would cost to ship but i can't imagine it would be too much. Call Chris at AZO he's super helpful.
