Where is the best place to buy a Fors Core. I just sold a T2 so I'm going for a Fors Core. Hope I didn't make a mistake.

Well I ordered the Nokta Fors Core today along with the Nokta pinpointer. Can't wait to try it out. I'm sure I'll have some questions after I get it.

Dang WKYDIGGER, I am getting ready to sell my Nokta Fors Core Pro Pack for a nice price too :wiggle:

You already ordered before I could chime in but I bought mine from Kellyco because they had a deal with a free pinpointer (Vulcan) but I spoke to them direct to get it replaced with the Nokta waterproof which is the best in my estimation! I am in no way promoting Kellyco here, just that that is where I bought mine for the deal received. But I do primarily use them due to quick shipping and prices. There are a lot of dealers in the US that are great to deal with for sure. Can't wait to see what you think of that bad boy! BTW-Congrats!

Sent you a PM.

Other dealers selling the Fors CoRe are giving a Nokta pin pointer . Why would anyone want a Valcan when they can get the Nokta waterproof Pinpointer. GS

I would certainly rather have the Nokta Pointer. Especially when you can get it free with the purchase of the detector.

I received my new Nokta Fors Core this week. Sadly the weather here is not wanting to cooperate. Going to have a winter storm here tonight with 8-10 inches of snow. I have taken it out of the box and assembled it. I like the build quality of this detector. Seems to be very well balanced as well. I am very happy with what i have seen so far. Can't wait to get out with it.

Hey Mike, the build quality and the balanced "feel" of the Fors CoRe is truly outstanding buddy! You will really get to loving that machine right off the bat! My recommendations are to go back and read postings and settings from MONTE and many others. This truly is a great machine. And like I said earlier, putting the machine in GEN mode in open fields for relic hunting, is the way to go, IMO. I found a 1851 half dime 13 inches deep, that the Di2 and Di3 modes had a hard time finding at all. GREAT MACHINE FOR SURE! :clapping:

Congrats buddy! Go out and learn the machine and not dabble too much with settings. I use the DI2 mode a lot for my applications. But these modes are designed to assist you on the terrain as you can see. The machine is well balanced and will yield results for sure. I would read the manual a few times and get to know what the settings and functions are in this inclement weather accompanied by a great cup of joe with maybe some spirits added for flavor!

Enjoy and report back when you get first use to share your initial thoughts. You will also find I believe down the road that the 5" coil to be a little beast for cleaning up a area you already hit. I have found several coins I missed on a area that I had been over a few times with the 11" coil. I think it is a must have down the road for sure. I wish I had bought the pro package to have all three coils but opted for the base setup and have added the small coil and an extra whole shaft assembly for quick and easy change out.

The Fors is great and should yield loads of finds and fun in the coming years.
