When pressing the Noise Cancel shortcut button, on the Explorer XS to automatically select the quietest operating channel, does one have to depress the button for the full 30 seconds or is just one quick press of the button sufficant? Thank you for your help on this.
 
No you don't have to hold it for 30 seconds. Just a good firm push is all you need to give it.
 
push once don't move the coil let it cycle thru and then it will beep when ready to hunt.I always do this when I first start hunting and even about every 15 minutes....Keeps the BIG E on her toes.
